Moose are frequent visitors during the summer and fall.  The local scenery and wildlife make Homer a photographers' paradise. Keep your eyes open for black bear, bald eagles, sea otters, whales and puffins.  If you are a serious photographer there are many trips available that you may be interested in from daily hikes across the bay to overnight trips where you can photograph grizzlies in the wild.
