We offer a wide variety of customizable trips on our 31' Bertram, the Arctic Envy. The 31 Bertram is considered by many as the greatest fishing boat ever made. With the heated cabin and restroom, twin turbo diesel power, full range of electronics and safety features, we've found it to be the perfect boat for our fishing adventures.

We take great pride in our fishing trips and we will always go the extra mile to set us apart from the rest. Homer is the halibut capital of the world for good reason, there are halibut almost everywhere and honestly, most charters could take you fishing and catch your limit of 2 halibut. Our aim  though is not catch everyone their 2 fish and see how fast we can get back to the dock. Our goal, quite simply, is to have the trip of a lifetime every time we leave the dock.

Halibut trips are not all the same, some would have you believe a couple of 15-20 pound fish is what you should expect, and yes, that's the average size halibut for Homer, but that's not what you come to Homer for and that's not what we're all about. We can't gurantee you giant halibut, but be assured we won't be happy with little fish either. Our trips our full day-long range trips. Halibut trips depart between 6:30 and 7:00am and after a 30-60 mile ride you will be fishing in some of the most productive fishing grounds in the world. We frequent the Barren and Chugiak Islands, the Gulf of Alaska and the far side of Cook Inlet in an effort to find and actually catch the fish you see in all the pictures. The chicken hole should be for the last stop, only if absolutely necessary, not the first.

If halibut on it's own does't sound like enough, we offer the excitement of combo trips. Combo trips give you the chance to catch your limit of both halibut and one or more other species. Other species include Salmon (either Kings or Silvers(Cohoe)), Lingcod, or Rockfish. This is an excellent way to maximize your fishing time and fill your freezer with some of the finest eating fish there are.

Whichever trip you decide on, we supply all fishing equipment, bait, tackle, fish cleaning, and an experienced and licensed crew that really love and have fun with what they do.

Don Dingman and his crew came out on the "Arctic Envy" to film the kids (6 year old Jimmy and 12 year old Jimmy!).  As you can see, we all had a great time - Homer is a fantastic destination for the entire family.
